Employees who do not use JD Edwards on a daily basis as part of their job find the software difficult to use. However, these employees do have to use the software for time and pay.
Objective — Provide a self-service dashboard for employees who occasionally need to access JD Edwards.
Outcome — A composite page was created with the most commonly used applications set in a dashboard-type view. The dashboard provides employees quick and easy access to self-service apps on their employee homepage. This eliminates the need for employees to have to navigate through different menus.
